Free trial
You may use Cedar free for 7 days on each Mac to decide whether it suits you. After that, it needs a license.
What you get
Buying Cedar gives you a personal license to install and use it on one Mac at a time, including future updates. Your key is tied to that Mac when you activate it.
Moving to another Mac
Removing the key in the app clears it from that Mac, but doesn’t free it up for another one. To move it, email me from the address you bought with.
What you can’t do
Cedar as distributed here is proprietary software. You may not redistribute or resell it, share your key, or work around the trial or license check, except as this license allows. Parts of Cedar are open source; their own licenses, below, still apply to those parts.
No warranty
Cedar is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. A browser runs whatever the sites you visit send it; keep backups of anything that matters.
Acknowledgements
Cedar is based on Search by Office Commun, used under the MIT License. Its terminal is built on Termy, © Lasse Vestergaard, under the MIT License. Both notices ship inside the app, in Settings › About. Cedar isn’t affiliated with Office Commun, Apple, or Google.
